Animated Ticket Design for David Bowie Themed Music Festival
Today's Behance Live focused on a lot of my favorite things and although I spent a lot of time moving things you'll never see I'm satisfied with the finished result and that's something.
My original ticket idea was far from finished and probably could have kept me busy all day but not bad considering the clock said 58 minutes when I started and Ms. Cadieux kept trying to teach me things I really wanted to pay more attention to but I got it in with two minutes to spare so at least there's that. I figured it made more sense to continue playing with it in After Effects rather than mess around any longer in Photoshop.
I never managed to figure out how to incorporate the fonts but I had fun watching how quickly I was able to part with things I had spent time on but just didn't seem to be work.
The idea here is that it would tear off and I had thought it would be neat if the QR code could be a sticker so you could put it on your phone or water bottle or something like that for easier scanability. Google let me know I wasn't the first person to think of slapping a QR code on a sticker but I didn't really imagine I was. Mr. Trani mentioned the idea of a temporary tattoo and I thought that would be an evenbetter use of this snap off ticket concept.
I'd like to see about playing next year's festival.
